The Leslie District Nursing Team received a donation from a local charity to support the purchase of a second syringe driver realising significant benefit to patients requiring end of life care.
Being able to deliver more timely care to patients by having access to more than one syringe driver has allowed us as a team to commence a syringe driver without hesitation. This has allowed us to deliver better care and patient outcomes have improved due to being able to respond and manage symptoms at end of life quicker
