Family Room and Staff Room Refurbishment

Ward 43 were recent recipients of a small grant as they had identified a need to improve the staff room and family room within their ward.
They wanted to create a comfortable space where staff could take their breaks away from the demands of the ward.

In addition, they also wanted to create an inviting and comfortable space for families where they could sit and relax in comfort.   We know all too often that families need a private space to speak and sadly at other times to receive upsetting news.  

This small grant has now achieved both these objectives.  The staff on Ward 43 and the relatives who have used the Family Room are now realising the benefits following the transformation of two tired looking areas into calm and inviting areas.
