The day brings learning to life by combining education with hands on practical experiences. Pupils take part in both land and water based activities that encourage teamwork, resilience, and joy. One group begins the morning with paddle boarding and canoeing, while the other enjoys mountain biking. In the afternoon, the groups switch activities to ensure every young person has the chance to participate fully.
This year, 22 children benefited from this uplifting and confidence building event, which continues to play an important role in supporting young people living with diabetes.
